Sleep Disorders in Children
Children are subject to disorders of sleep and wakefulness which are unique to childhood, and their care and treatment demand special expertise. Insomnia, sleepwalking, nightmares, nocturnal bedwetting, and other sleep-related symptoms are not only a problem for the young patient but for the entire family.
At the Sleep Disorders Center, the expertise of the staff is augmented by the skills of pediatrics specialists. The Center's multidisciplinary approach ensures that the physiological and psychological needs particular to childhood are given thorough and expert attention.
For infants, children, and adolescents, the Sleep Disorders Center provides effective diagnostic, treatment, and counseling services to aid in the management of sleep problems.
